The workshop was attended by around 60 participants from each of programme partners and other key stakeholders. The workshop was successful in identifying a number of user needs that will need to be addressed in the design and implementation of the project activities as part of the Climate Services Adaptation Programme in Africa. The workshop noted that the provision and use of climate service requires collaboration between users and TMA, who provides the information. To address this, the workshop successfully agreed on a number of recommendations for the establishment of a Framework for Climate Services in Tanzania, which will be taken forward by the Task Team to be established by the GFCS Project Delivery Team and most notably its Chair – the TMA.
