GFCS workshop and national consultation in conjunction with Training of trainers (ToT) of Climate Field School (CFS) for Asia-Pacific

GFCS Office in collaboration with Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics (Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika or simply BMKG) will jointly organize the GFCS Workshop and national consultation in conjunction with Training of Trainers(ToT) of Climate Field School(CFS) for Asia-Pacific from 25 to 27 August 2015 at Ina-RTC, Citeko, Indonesia.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to share the knowledge of the risk of climate variability and change, how to adapt to strengthen collaboration among them.

Specifically, the focus of the course will be on:

1. Sharing knowledge and better management of the risks of climate variability and change and adaptation to climate change
2. Identifying priority activities on GFCS focus areas to be implemented in each region.
3. Identifying opportunities and ways to encourage collaboration and form a partnership to consolidate information about adaptation to climate change.
